As we settle into what is in Edinburgh a cold, wet February, I’ve started writing something new. I hope regular readers will be pleased to hear it’s the 27th of the Pitkirtly Mysteries and is provisionally called The Way to Dusty Death. (But I hope a different title emerges as I go along – I’m a little reluctant to use this quote from my favourite Shakespeare speech). I’m only in the middle of Chapter 2 at the moment and Christopher has already resorted to eating doughnuts to cover up his bafflement about the latest turn of events.
I haven’t quite forgotten about The Watcher in the Shrubbery yet. Thank you to the reader who posted a lovely review of it almost immediately after publication! This one has taken a little while to wend its way to Kobo, Apple and the rest, but I am now able to list the links to these ebook retailers here:

A paperback version is also now available from Amazon.
