Welcome to French month here on my Cecilia Peartree blog.
I’ve designated December 2011 as ‘French month’ to celebrate the publication of my latest novel ‘Murder in the Midi’, which is set in the south of France.
Please note that this is a romantic suspense novel, and that there are elements of romance in it which are different from anything that can be found in my Pitkirtly mysteries. I don’t think most people will find it particularly shocking but I wouldn’t want anyone to be too surprised either.
Writing this novel was like going back to France for another holiday there in the sun. I’m hoping to be able to do more ‘research’ there next year, and much to my consternation I thought of an idea for another romantic suspense novel almost the minute I completed this year’s NaNoWriMo.
